Compliance Checklist

As from 1 January 2020, all Public, Private & Non-Profit Companies will have to complete a Compliance checklist with CIPC on an annual basis. It can be lodged at any time. However you will not be able to lodge your Annual Return unless this checklist has been submitted online.
When a person agrees to become a director of a company, they are obliged to familiarise themselves with the requirements of the Companies Act. CIPC are using this as an education process to ensure that directors are aware of their responsibilities and whether their Companies comply. 
We have a CIPC brochure which outlines the procedures to follow as well as the sections of the Act affected. We also have a summarised version of these requirements for ease of reference. However, this does not replace the full sections which need to be understood and explained.
